Notebook Making

A self-help group in Sundarpur, Odisha were provided support to generate extra income during the pandemic, in the form of our notebook making project, in collaboration with Youth for Sustainability (YFS). The notebooks featured art in the form of covers, made by Behind The Scenes donors and well-wishers. This project helped the women to gainfully employ themselves and help sustain households in the middle of an economic lockdown.

The material and training required to make the notebooks was provided to them by our team, and they were paid per notebook made. All the notebooks were then donated to those that needed them.
